Answer: Make a mobile! I tied a paper clip to the end of some fishing line, slid the first bowl on, tied another paper clip about 8 inches from the first one, added another bowl, etc. The whole contraption is light enough to hang from the ceiling and twirl.
What I'll do different next time: Use old keys instead of paper clips. The paper clips are plenty sturdy, but they're not much to look at.
From hot-gluing hair clips to refinishing furniture, I'll take on any project that looks interesting.
