I found Victor-Victoria beside the Dumpster outside my old apartment. She scared the crap out of me when I bumped into her in the dark. (She's about 6 feet tall on her perch.) She looked like she had been left outside for a while, and her wooden skin was unfinished and dirty. I cleaned her up and painted her, and she has been creeping out my houseguests ever since.
From hot-gluing hair clips to refinishing furniture, I'll take on any project that looks interesting.
